Miss China is the new Queen-2012 Miss World Pageant

Miss China Yu Wenxia beat 115 other contestants to be crowned the 2012 Miss World in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on Saturday evening.

The 23-year-old music student who wants to be a music teacher is the second Chinese to ever win the Miss world crown. The first time was in 2007, won by Zhang Zilin in Sanya, Hainan. .


The first runner-up was Sophie Elizabeth Moulds of Wales and the second runner-up, Jessica 

Michelle Kahawaty of Australia.
