Philip Abur-4th winner with family |
At the beginning it sounded almost unbelievable.
That you can just pick five crown cocks and become a proud owner of a furnished
three bedroom apartment in a Lagos highbrow area like Lekki. That was exactly
what the just concluded National Consumer Promotion (NCP) tagged “Maltina Sharing
Happiness Promo” delivered in line with Nigeria breweries culture of remaining
connected to her consumers while strengthening its leadership position in the
Nigerian malt drinks market..
The rave generated by the presentation ceremony of first
set of house winners, Adeyinka Adeola who lives in Rivers state, Moses Edewor a
resident of Yenegoa in Balyelsa state and Oluwanisola Akinsanya in Irolu-Remo,
Ogun State charged the entire atmosphere,
with consumers falling over one another to snatch a piece of the action. In an
environment where very few brands can match this level of positive impact on
consumers, stretching the battle for the remaining two houses to a do- or -die
affair was somewhat understandable.

Maurice Eze-5th winner and Family |
The
last raffle draw was held on Sunday, 3 June 2012 in Lagos. And the show anchor, Kemi Adetiba set
the pace as she picked the fourth winning number on National Television.
In a tense atmosphere with most members sitting at the edge of their seats,
Kemi picked the winner who turned out to be Reverend Philip Abur, a 57 years old
clergyman who hails from the Tiv area of Benue State. It also emerged that one Maurice
Eze, a 24 years old youth corp. member serving with Ecobank Plc was victorious
as the fifth winner of the promo and happens to be the first winner from Lagos

Excited Philip and Family Receiving keys to new home |
Relating his experience when contacted on telephone
as winner, Maurice Eze said ‘I was at Shoprite in Lekki with my siblings that
Saturday when I got the call. When the first call came in it wasn’t clear so I
had to cut it to move to where the reception was better. When the caller called
again, it was a female voice and she said her name is Kemi Adetigba, calling on
behalf of Maltina. Immediately I heard that the call was from Maltina, it dawned
on me that something positive has happen, out of excitement I screamed when I
was eventually told I won a 3bedroom apartment in Lekki. I couldn’t wait to
finish the shopping and i went home with my siblings to break the news to our
parents’.
