Tamara Eteimo- Winner of Next Movie Star 2011

Tamara Eteimo emerged the winner of 2011 edition of the popular Next Movie Star. The 24 house mates have gone through training and competition to make it through the reality TV show.

24-year-old, Bayelsa State-born Eteimo was adjudged the most outstanding and talented contestant in the reality television show after fighting her way through to the last eight. Tomiwa Kukoyi, Aisha Alli-Balogun and Vivian Egbon fell into second, third and fourth positions respectively.

Tamara’s victory, which was announced by Afro juju maestro, Sir Shina Peters, comes with a brand new SUV, cash prize and three movie roles. In addition, the Theatre Arts graduate of the University of Port Harcourt according to show organizers will be ushered, star style, into the Nollywood movie industry.



Now in its seventh year, the Next Movie Star has churned out a number of talents like the last three Big Brother Africa winners; Karen Igho, Uti Nwachukwu and Kevin Chuwang Pam, Kingsley Ogbodo, Portia Yamahan, Enoch Hammond (Ghana), Avinette Sirleaf (Liberia) and Akio Precious Ilami.
